Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) is a global health challenge, affecting both developed and developing nations.
It poses significant threats to public health, healthcare delivery, and economic progress. The seriousness of this matter, as highlighted by the World Health Organization, is accentuated by the formidable prediction that, 4.1 million lives in the African region alone are at risk of being lost to antimicrobial resistance by 2050.
We’ve been working closely with various stakeholders throughout the healthcare ecosystem across Africa to create guidelines, develop tool kits and provide practical insights to address the challenges posed by AMR.
Our steadfast commitment revolves around the promotion of responsible and optimized antibiotic use and raising awareness, understanding the imperative of preserving these essential medications for future generations.
