Malaria continues to place a disproportionate burden on Sub-Saharan Africa, accounting for nearly 95% of global cases and deaths, with children under five remaining the most vulnerable. Despite progress, hundreds of millions of cases still occur each year — making malaria not only a health challenge, but a barrier to development, productivity, and progress.
At Shalina Healthcare, we are committed to changing this reality not only through treatment, but
through reach, awareness, and early action.
Through our Shal’Artem-led malaria campaign, we integrated digital engagement with on-ground interventions across Sub-Saharan Africa, connecting directly with communities and healthcare providers.
Our digital campaign reached over 2 million views, while our field programs enabled
~6,000+ patients screened through malaria detection camps, alongside initiatives focused on clinical education via CMEs, community sanitation and prevention drives, and improved access to effective anti-malarial treatments at the last mile.
Our belief is simple: malaria control will not be achieved through treatment alone, but through
sustained access, awareness, and collective action.
