Hemoforce Prega is used for the treatment and prevention of iron deficiency anemia during pregnancy

Composition:

Each 5ml of syrup contains: Iron (III) Hydroxide Polymaltose Complex eq. elemental Iron 60mg, Folic Acid 1mg, Vitamin B12 7.5mcg, Ascorbic Acid (Vit. C) 30mg, Elemental Copper 0.5mg, Zinc Sulphate eq. elemental Zinc 6mg, Manganese Sulfate eq. elemental Manganese 1mg

Indications:

  • Treatment of iron deficiency anemia
  • Prevention of iron deficiency anemia

Dosage:

Treatment of iron deficiency anemia:

  • The usual dose is 5ml twice daily

Prevention of iron deficiency anemia:

  • The usual dose is 5ml once daily

Side Effects:

Diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain, discolored stool, vomiting, rash and headache
