Through initiatives like the Shalina Young Talent Award (SYTA), we are not just recognizing talent but creating a platform for knowledge exchange and growth among pharmacist students. This commitment goes beyond awards; it’s about fostering a community where young pharmacists can thrive and excel.
SYTA, held in Kinshasa, DRC, showcased our dedication to supporting and encouraging the next generation of pharmacists. This program, unique in Africa, brought together over 200 students and 40 professors from the College of Pharmacy. The enthusiasm among the audience was palpable throughout the program, demonstrating the success and appreciation for SYTA. The College Dean, professors, and students not only praised the initiative but also expressed a desire to continue our association.
