Shalina Rising Star held in Lusaka, Zambia, marked a significant milestone in promoting excellence and innovation among young doctors.
Focused on the University Teaching Hospital and Levy Mwanawasa University Teaching Hospital, the event drew 41 talented senior resident doctors competing for the coveted title.
It was honoured by the presence of esteemed figures, including Minister of Health Hon. Sylvia Masebo, MP, Dr A.K.Y. Maseka, Director Health Services and other key leaders.
Notably, the Ministry of Health announced scholarships for the 10 finalists to attend the upcoming Zambia Health Research Conference, further recognizing the event’s impact.
The top three winners received prizes, inspiring their continued dedication to healthcare excellence.
